     Many of our guests over the years have expressed an interest in owning a Victorian home and/or becoming an InnKeeper of a Bed & Breakfast Inn.      After being in the InnKeeping business for 32 years, and with our senior InnKeeper, Lily, now turning 85 years old, we think that we too are ready for retirement, and will be selling our most dearest possession - "Abigail's Elegant Victorian Mansion". So one chapter closes and another is about to begin. Lily is torn between returning back home to family in Belgium or of doing Community Service here locally in Eureka. Doug is deciding between a return back to our wilderness ranch in a Ford 4x4 pick-up truck or returning back to our wilderness ranch in a Toyota 4x4 pick-up truck. Decisions, decisions.

     The new owners of our Victorian Mansion may well be interested in keeping the Mansion as their own personal home and not be open to the public, which is often the case when a small Inn is sold. If that is the case, then the Mansion will no longer be available for those who wish lavish themselves with the opulence, grace, and grandeur of Eureka's most famous Victorian Inn.

     Meanwhile, until the Inn is sold, we will continue operating our cherished Victorian Mansion just as we always have: With joy, conviviality and a strong commitment of service to our guests.
